you are invited to 'SLOW REVOLUTION' by the artists Sean Kaye and Jenny West on the 12th of August at 1900 at Umbrella in Holbeck, Leeds.

"Slow Revolution employs a single static locked off camera shot to examine the relationships of balance, equilibrium and rhythm found in the extraordinary and complex monumental Lovell Radio Telescope at Jodrell Bank observatory. The precision, sensitivity and scale of the scientific instrument is emphasised by the composition of a detail of the telescope as it slowly moves to track a radio source across the sky. Exploring the elegant, highly formal, yet ambiguous linear qualities of this monumental structure, the film focuses on the composition of large scale interrelated parts to form swift and at other times almost imperceptible changing network across the screen."

this is the seventh exhibition in the 'One-Offs' series.
